Susan F. Rizzo is a figurative and abstract artist living in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.  She draws upon her passion for color and the shapes and patterns in nature to create abstract works that transport the viewer to dreamlike, other-worldly places.  In her figurative work, she places the subject in surroundings – sometimes created with thick layers of texture – to convey the emotional and spiritual experiences that shape our lives.  Each piece invites the viewer to interpret its lines, shapes and colors as a personal experience, thereby creating a unique dialogue between art and audience.

All paintings, unless otherwise noted, are oil and mixed media on hand-constructed, gallery-wrapped, canvas board.
